Carol Varnado, 72, passed away October 2, 2011, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Carol is survived by her son, Michael Varnado; daughter, Sherry Dunn; daughter, Melinda Lane; son, Lloyd Varnado; son, Chris Varnado; daughter, Tracey Varnado; niece, Cherrel Hunter; grandchildren, Carol and Jose Dominguez, Melinda Sue and William Dominguez, Michael Lane, Shawn Lane, Cassandra Mikesell, Andrea Mikesell and Regina Varnado; and great-grandchildren, William Dominguez, Alejandro Dominguez, Armando Dominguez, Jose Dominguez Jr., David Dominguez, Isebel Dominguez, Kevin Dominguez, Trey Varnado, Logan Daly, Mykayla Wolfe, Caylee Wolfe, Dameon Wolfe, Jaxon Wolfe, Aaron Lane, Aidion Lane, Alex Lane, A.J. Lane and A.C. Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Varnado; mom and dad, Effie and Arthur Knause; sister, Colleen Meggison; son, Eugene Varnado; and grandson, William Lane.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

May you be at peace with the years of life momma Carol lived. She is not in anymore pain and she is with her son Eugene and her grandson William. Celebrate her life and cherish the memories. You are all in my prayers!
