Leola Margaret Timmins

Leola Margaret (Timmins) Young went home to the Lord early Friday Morning, September 30, 2011.

She was born July 26, 1916 at Kalona, Iowa. She was retired from Hy-Vee where she worked for many years. She loved to cook and was an avid gardener and reader. She was an active volunteer in her church and supported several civic organizations.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Donna) and daughter, Kay, their four children and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Staves United Methodist Church on Saturday October 8, 2011, at 3 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or Staves United Methodist Church.
