John C. Allen, Sr.

John Casper Allen, Sr., 54, died Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. A funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.

John was born May 22, 1957 in Rockford, Illinois to Ray and Margaret Allen.

John is survived by his children, Misty, John Jr., Tyler; his parents, Ray and Maggie; his brothers, Randy, Timothy; his sisters, Brenda, Becky, Jean and Jane; his grandchildren, Noah Ray, Leslie, Elijah, Johnny Ray and Tyler Jr.; several nieces and nephews and his dog, Sammy.
