Service Details
Dorrance James Mesch, 90, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.
Dorrance was born July 23, 1921 in Osakis, MN to Joseph D. and Alice Rose (Moore) Mesch. He was a United States Army Veteran, an Inspector for the Federal Housing Administration and lived in Iowa and Minnesota for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lorraine Mesch.
Dorrance is survived by his son, Mike and Lauren Mesch; daughters, Karen and Patrick Furleigh, Patricia and Gary Frost, Kathleen Bagby; his brother, Joseph Arthur Mesch; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mike, Lauren and the rest of the Mesch family.
I am so sorry about your loss. I know this has been a difficult time for all of you. In the end he was surrounded by love and that is the greatest blessing you could give him.
