Lucian Schrodt

Lucian Schrodt, 79, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Taylor House Hospice. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, 3120 SW 9th Street. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 2 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A private family inurnment will take place at Avon Cemetery.

Lucian was born October 16, 1931 in Appanoose County to Frances and Orvil Hetzler. She retired from Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance and loved wintering in Florence, Arizona.

Lucian is survived by her children, Shelley (Donald) Etzel, Rebecca (Mike) McAninch, Patrick (Dorothea) Trotter; her grandchildren, Timothy, Michael, Mindy, Wyatt, Matthew; her three great grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary Etta Lake, Martha Irelan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schrodt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor House Hospice.
