Edward Fetters

Edward Leon Fetters, 91, was born April 6, 1920, in Des Moines. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones Saturday, September 24, 2011.

Edward is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Virginia R. Fetters.

Edward is survived by his sons, David L. Fetters, Edward J. Fetters, and John E. Fetters; daughter, Kathleen R. Riley; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Edward's favorite things to do were to play Bingo and watch old western movies.

Burial service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 3601 E. Court Avenue.
