Wilma Ann Clark

Wilma Ann Clark, 95, passed away September 17, 2011 at Valley View Village.

Wilma was born December 19, 1915, in Lacona, Iowa, to William and Elsie Smith. She was a graduate of East High School. Wilma worked for American Insurance for 15 years, and retired from J.C. Penney in 1977 after nine years of service. She attended Staves Memorial United Methodist Church for many years, and was a member of TOPS. Wilma was a resident of Stonecrest Apartments for 30 years and made many treasured friends.

Wilma is survived by her children, Dwight (Judith) Clark and Dolores (Nelson) Nine; nine grandchildren, Becky, Dwight, Jr., Barry, Jeffrey, Dan, Joy, Barbara, Ronnie and Jimmy; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Joy Clark; her parents; and nine siblings.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Staves Memorial United Methodist Church, 2747 E. Madison Avenue. A private family burial will take place at Dunreath Cemetery in Dunreath, Iowa.
