Janice Irene Miller, 70, passed away September 12, 2011, at her home.
Janice was born November 18, 1940, in St. Joe, Arkansas, to John and Clara Curtis, Sr. She worked as a bartender for many years and was an avid bowler.
Janice was a devoted, giving and loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by her husband of 53 years, Bob; children, Janet, Terri, Trisha, Robert, Jr. and Honey Sue; step-daughter, Sheila; adopted daughter, Sheila; siblings, Nellie, Mary, June and John, Jr.; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and many adopted children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; step-father; mother-in-law; father-in-law; step-father-in-law; sister, Joan; and daughter, Tami.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011, at Central Community of Christ, 1645 Pennsylvania Avenue.

rish and family, I can't send my condolences to the website so I will send them this way. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. Remember the good times and get a book and write her letters everyday and it will help. I still miss pop and I write sometimes everyday. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time

we have known you all for many years and i have always thought of jan as a grandmoher, i wish i could be there for all of you but you all know im in germany. please know you are all in the hopkins familys thoughts and prayers. alllll the way from germany.
