Nola Mae Curry (Hutton), 74, of Norwoodville, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2011. She was born March 14, 1934.
She worked in her family’s restaurant, but after she married, she was mostly a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. Nola loved shopping and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two brothers, David Hutton (Nancy) of Hemet, CA, and Bernie Hutton (Carolyn) of Agency, IA; her children, Richard Curry (Michele) of Chariton, IA, Vickie Carlson (Fred Pieart) of Des Moines, IA, Cheryl Bradshaw of Pleasant Hill, IA, Edward Curry, Jr. (Lisa) of Des Moines, IA, and Koreen Blanchette (Kevin) of Berwick, IA; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Nola was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Lester Hutton; brothers, Ralph Hutton, Jerry Hutton, Orville Hutton and Richard Hutton; sister, Evelyn Hutton; her husband, Edward D. Curry; and brother-in-law, Joseph Curry.

Vickie and family, I am saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I remember you and I used to play together as kids. Our mom's watched over us.
