Service Details
Pamela Lucille (Hegwood) Taylor, 53, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 3700 Cottage Grove Avenue, where Pamela was a member and the program director of the Super Wednesday Program. Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Pamela is survived by her husband, James Taylor; daughters, Libbey and Emily Taylor; mother, Glenda (Donn) Block; sisters, Cindy (Kevin) Roach and Lisa (Mike) Quirk; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Billy James Hegwood.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church/Super Wednesday Program, in loving memory of Pamela.

We just wanted send our deepest sympathies to you. We will always remember
Pam for her excitement she brought into a room. She was always so good with Eric when you watched him for us.
May God give you comfort at this time. I just lost my dad and it truely does help to know they are with our Lord.

Still at a loss for words. Can't remember not knowing Pam! Our dads rode to work together every day for years. We grew up together...at home (neighbors), at church, at school. We spent many hours together in youth group whether being silly or putting the Agape newsletter together! Cancer may have removed Pam from us physically (for which we are deeply saddened) but it can not take away our memories!

I am remembering all of you in this very sad and painful time. Pam was an amazing woman and you know that more than anyone else. Her lived life loving and caring. She made a difference in our world. Pam really knew how to be a friend. My family would like to return the friendship she showed us to you. Please call on us if there is anything we can do for you. A meal, a ride, legal advice, a hug, a card game, anything we can do, please call.
