Eileen L. Reed, 76, passed away September 8, 2011 at Taylor Hospice House. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Adventure Life Church in Altoona, Iowa. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Sheila Hudson; grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn and Kirk Hudson; son, Mark Evans (Diane); grandchildren, Will, Jackson and Mallory Evans; sisters, Betty Krueger, Roseann Kane and Patricia Free; brothers, Rod and Michael Free; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Free; son-in-law, Rick Hudson.

Eileen enjoyed reading, watching TV and walking her dog and granddog. Most of all she enjoyed her family. She enjoyed her grandchildren greatly and was so very proud of them. Eileen was always willing to help out and was always there when you needed her.
