Laura May Welch, 45, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa

Laura was born August 29, 1966 in Phoenix, Arizona. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and a variety of music. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Victoria (Mike Cowden) Phipps of New Virginia, Chris (Ashley Evins) Phipps Jr. of Des Moines, and Paige Lundean of Georgia; significant other, Kevin Sellers; and many close friends and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her loving pet and daughter, Daisy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Laura’s family at 2902 Cottage Grove Apt. 302, Des Moines, Iowa 50311.
