Lillian Brady

Lillian Brady, 82, passed away August 30, 2011, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk. She was born February 21, 1929, to Percy and Francis Cook.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Carol Bitar of Newnan, GA, Cindy (John) Eaton of Newnan, GA, and Wendy (Tim) Markey of Indianola, IA; Stepchildren, Lori (Kevin) Hanson of Rosecreek, MH, Kevin Brady of St. Croix, MN, and LuAnn Brady of Minneapolis, MN; her sister, Helen Broitzman of Austin, MN and brother, Larry (Pat) Avery of Forest Lake, MN; grandchildren, Dina Tollefson of St. Paul, MN, Eric, Paul, and Mark Tollefson of St. Paul, MN, Shane P. Johnson of Jacksonville, FL, Michael Bitor of Arleta, CA, Bridget (Kenny) Schoonover of Winona, MN, Steve (Dusti) Markey of Des Moines, Sindy Markey of Des Moines, and Stan Markey of Norwalk; and great-grandchildren, Michael A. Bitar of Arleta, CA, Elizabeth M. Johnson of Sandyville, IA, and Andru and Gabriel Markey of Des Moines, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Paul J. Tollefson and James Brady; brother, Glenn Cook; sister, Mabel Bartel; and her sons, Daryl Tollefson and DuWayne Tollefson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 3, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 306 2nd Street NW, Austin, Minnesota. Burial of cremated remains will occur at Grandview Memorial Gardens, and a reception will follow at the VFW Club. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Lillian.
