Theresa Marie was born on August 26, 1947, and passed away August 28, 2011.
Theresa is survived by her mother, Elizabeth; her sister, Wendy; her brother, Rick; her aunt, Theresa Renzo; her uncles, Dominic Renzo and Peter Acri; many nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Theresa.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road.

Miss Acri was one of my favorite teachers when she taught at Humboldt High School. She was a loving, smart wonderful teacher and mentor to many of us. She will be missed and will always, ALWAYS be remembered.

T.A. was the reason I attended Drake, and she was a wonderful teacher. I loved the times we had doing plays with Humboldt's community theater. She challenged us to do our best. T.A. gave me a mustard seed charm during "Wait Til Dark" which I still have. I will always remember her fondly and am truly sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

My thought and prayers are with all of the family of Teresa's.I am a former student of hers from Humboldt Iowa.I loved her and she was a very good teacher,I graduated in 1979 and Had her for several classes.I will remember her wit and her great smile,She was a great lady!!!! To the family of Theresa Acri:
I am so sorry to read of Theresa's death. She has been on my mind a lot lately and I didn't know why but guess now I do.
Theresa worked as a temporary at Pioneer Hi-Bred several years ago and was so much fun. I was her supervisor and became a good friend. We went out for dinner a few times after she moved on to her renewed career of teaching.

I haven't seen Theresa in years, but feel very saddened at the news of her death.
Theresa was always a very kind and sweet person. The lose of Theresa will be felt by many.

Dear Wendy and family,
I did not know Theresa, but I am sure she had a deep commitment to and love of family like the rest of you do. It is always a shock when a sibling passes. We eventually get used to the loss of our parents, because we should be the ones to be here after they have gone home. But with siblings, we all expect to grow very old together. I am very sorry for your loss. I am glad you had some good times together. My thoughts are with you.
