Waymon K. Jacobs

Waymon K. “Bump” Jacobs, 63, passed away August 27, 2011, at his home in Des Moines. He was born May 10, 1948, to Mary Margaret McAdams and William Jacobs.

Waymon is survived by his wife, Vickie; sons, Bill and Shawn Jacobs; daughter, Sheila Henderson; sister, Trena Richardson; his grandchildren, Brandi and Sami Henderson, Sara, Zachary, Magan, Jared, Michael, Jason, Justin, and Kendall Annalisa Jacobs; and one great-granddaughter, Amaya Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Jacobs; and his sons, Wayne and Robert Jacobs.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
