Robert Webb

Robert L. Webb, 77, of Bondurant passed away Monday, November 6, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Bondurant Christian Church with burial at Bondurant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home.
Robert was born on October 6, 1929. He was drafted and played for the Cubs farm team. In 1948 he enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. Robert was united in marriage to Mildred Renaud on October 26, 1949. Over the years Robert served as General Manager of several Farmer’s Cooperatives throughout Iowa. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred; children, Pamela (Irvin) Johnson, Robert (Vicki) Webb, Jr., James (Rose) Webb and Michael Webb; grandchildren, Seth, Lindsey and Cole and great-granddaughter, Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bondurant Rescue Unit.
