Service Details
Tyler Matthew Hill, 21, passed away August 22, 2011. Tyler was born on December 5, 1989, in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from Southeast Polk in
2008. Tyler's passion in life was his family and racing.
He is survived by his Special Mom, Kathi Hill; brothers, Ted Hill and Mikey Hill; sisters, Kim Champlin and Kristina Pierce; grandmother, Judy Ames; grandfather;
Orville Hill, and his other family, Ronnie Ray, Missy, Lisa and Krystal Hill and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Hill and mother, Tammy Barnes.
Visitation will be August 27, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please help with the final expenses for Tyler by making donations to the family. Join us in a benefit for Tyler on August 26, 2011, at 7 p.m. at Croz Nest in Ankeny, IA.

i cant believe it took me this long to get on here, i still dont wanna believe he's gone,i went to saydel with tyler, i sat beside him everyday in class and he was one of my best friends there, one of my only friends actually (me being 5 monthes pregnant and a transfer to the school, i was the subject of alot of gossip) tyler made each day a little easier just by being there, talking to me, he'd go on and on about cars and racing and he was always full of jokes and smiles, ty was full of life! tyler was one of the sweetest guys ive ever met and im better for knowing him. one of the last times i saw tyler he came to my house and watched a movie with me and just talked for hours about every thing we could think of, about life. i miss him!! i love you tyler, and i think about you all the time!!! r.i.p my friend!!

Im so sorry to hear of Tyler's passing. I knew him from high school. He was always smiling and was always joking around with people. He sure knew how to make people laugh and smile. I'm sorry he was called away so soon. May God bless your family during this hard time.

So sorry to hear of this, you all have been on my mind thru out the week. My family had the privilege of meating Tyler this past summer and hanging with him. never will forget the snoring contest between him and Rod....lol and his wonderful huge smile...RIP Tyler....

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Tyler while he attended Saydel High School and always enjoyed listening to his stock car racing stories. He was always enthusiastic and respectful. (Tyler left some pictures at school that I would like to drop off before his service.)

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Hill family for the loss of Tyler whom will be greatly missed by many .His funny jokes and laughter and especially that big smile.You should be proud of the days spent with him which the times we did we had alot of fun and good chats.The memories will remain as they were for all of us a great kid,loving kid, but now he is in the arms of his mom and dad and that is what he use to long for .Im sure God has him as a doorkeeper to enter the gates of heaven and may he rest in loving peace.The angels gathered around and called him home there he will be waiting for all of us.

Ronnie,Missy and family,
I did not know Tyler, but can tell he meant alot to your family. I am so sorry to hear that he had to leave you all so soon. Only God knows why he took him from this earth so young. I guess now he is reunited with his mother and father. I am sure he loved you like a second set of parents and he had two sisters too. You will get through this one day at a time, just know you wll see him again one day. You have a strong family that will always be there for you. Take care of each other. You all will be in my prayers in the days ahead.
