William Curran

William G. “Bill” Curran, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th Avenue. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation with family present will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
Bill was born March 1, 1920 in Manley, Iowa. He married Virginia “Peg” Wilmot on August 19, 1939 in Waterloo, Iowa. He retired from Mayflower Moving Company. Bill was a veteran of World War II in the Philippines.
Bill is survived by his wife, Peg; his children, Dennice (Sam) Di Girolamo of Petaluma California, Teri Ryan of Oak Grove, Missouri, Kathy (Jim) Cerfogli of Ankeny, Iowa, Michael (Julie) Curran of Cordova Illinois; his eleven grandchildren, and his twelve great grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his parents, sister and grandson, Paul.
