Service Details
Brian Heldenbrand, 46, went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2011. A celebration service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Walnut Ridge Recreation Area, Shelter #2, Saylorville Lake at 2:00 pm. Prior to the service, everyone is welcome to join the family for a picnic at 12:30. For more info: CelebrateBrian1@gmail.com.
Brian was born in Des Moines on May 6, 1965. He graduated from Van Meter High School and DMACC. Brian loved the Lord and was very involved with his church. He enjoyed playing the drums, golfing and bowling.
Brian’s memory will be cherished by all the lives he touched. He is survived by many loving family members and friends.

Today's service was really nice! I'm so glad Dave and I were able to attend. Brian was surrounded by some pretty special people throughout his lifetime!

Tamie, Gordon, Jim & Families: I am so sorry for your loss and have been sending up lots of prayers for all of you & Brian. Life seems pretty unfair at times, and this was one of those. Hang tough and keep the faith that Brian is at peace now.

I have not met Brian's parents but I have had the priviledge to have spent some time and conversations with Brian. My son Kurt has shared the townhouse with Brian for the past several months. Please accept our sympathy as even tho Brian seemed to have numerous medical problems his passing was still a shock to us. I am sure the guys will feel his loss for quite sometime. The comfort is knowing his spirit is whole once again.

I just heard of the passing of your son Brian. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling now. We all know that he is in a better place, but that still doesn't make the heartache go away.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Brian. I only knew him through my brother, Kurt, who was a roommate of Brians. I know that Brian is in the arms of Our Lord and I pray for the families healing. The world is a little less bright with the loss of this kind man and he is truly missed. Please take care and God bless you.
