Betty Belle Jackson, 90, passed away August 9, 2011, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk. She was born March 21, 1921.
Betty is survived by her son, Jack (Valerie) Jackson; grandchildren, Corey (Tracey) Jackson and Chris (Katie) Jackson; several great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Sue) Jones; special family friends that she loved like grandchildren, Jason and Jon Bolton; and many other loving relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis E. Jackson, Jr.; sisters, Lela Zugg and Doris Hansen; and her brother, David Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.

Dear Jack, so sorry for your loss. she was a very special person in our lives, and will miss her dearly. there isn't enough words to say of how many lives she touched with all the volunteering she did. My life has been in riched with all her knowledge and wisdom. We had good times with her. To bad she had to get that ugly disease. Heaven gained a special angel. take care

Jack and family,
We weren't sure of your address, but wanted you to know that we are thinking of you. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but at 90 your mother was more probably ready for the next step in life. Nothing in this physical life disappears, it only changes form. Stands to reason that such a loving soul wouldn't be wasted.
Take comfort that you were there for her. A loving family is the best gift anyone can have.
