Fayne Bain

Fayne Marie Bain, 89, passed away August 9, 2011, at Sunny View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ankeny from Alzheimer’s disease.

Fayne was born October 28, 1921. She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. Fayne enjoyed listening to Glenn Miller and watching Lawrence Welk.

Fayne is survived by her children, Timothy J. Bain, Kelly C. Bain and Molly E. Bain; grandchildren, Jon, Jennifer, Tim C., Tom and Bob; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Don Goff; brother-in-law, Jim (Pat) Bain; special niece, Marilyn Larson; and many other loving nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie and sister, Doris Burton.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church, 3100 Easton Blvd., followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the church.
