Phayboun Thongsoum, 66, passed away August 3, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Friday at either Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street or at the family’s home, 2919 Deer Path Court.
Mr. Thongsoum is survived by his wife, Sivilay Thongsoum; daughters, Bounvilay Lovanh, Douangchay Thongsoum and Manilay Thongvanh; sons, Jack Thongsoum and William Sitisay; grandchildren, Maddi Thongvanh and Enzo Thongsoum; sons-in-law, Nanh Lovanh and Mana Thongvanh; and his daughter-in-law, Phanna Kem.

I worked with Boun at Casey's for many years. I always enjoyed seeing him and talking to him each night when he was cleaning the offices. He will be missed dearly.
