Susan J. Bolton

Susan J. Bolton, 64, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh House after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Susan was born November 4, 1946, to Donald and Betty Overton in Des Moines and graduated from Tech High School in 1964. She enjoyed visiting casinos, especially Prairie Meadows. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her daughters, Lisa Eggers and Missy (Joe) Sartell; grandchildren, Steve, Ryan, Ashley, Kaylee, and Brooklyn; brother, Mike (Cheryl) Overton; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith Bolton; and sister, Carol Overton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
