I know this is an especially sad time for you and your family and I know there are no perfect words to ease your pain or give you strength. I can only tell you that we care and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We in the Immanuel Class have been praying for Don praying for Gods will in his life and now he is with the Savior and can look upon his face. Hallelujah.

Don and I were classmates during the six years it took us to graduate from Lincoln High School in January of 1957. I appreciated his humor and friendship over the decades since those long ago school years. My sincere condolences to Sandy and their children. He will be missed.

Even though we can't be there for Don's service, we will be thinking of you and lifting all of you up to the Lord for His comfort.
We loved Don! He was a great man of character and faith. His simple faith was lived out in His speech, actions, work, and service to His Lord. He was an example to us in many ways. He and Sandy demonstrated what a Christian marraige and God centered home looked like.
"When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory"!
We love you Sandy, Val, Bill, Vicki and Jeff.
With love and sympathy,
Howard and Marcie

Dear Sandy, Valerie, Bill, and Vicki,
I am so, so sorry for your loss. I didn't realize Don was ill. I still think of him as that playful tease that I used to know. I have so many wonderful memories of Don and your family; in fact, it was because of you, Don and Sandy, that I went to Cornerstone and became a part of that church family. I treasure those times.
I love you guys, and will keep you in my prayers. I wish I could be there to see you and talk to you personally, but I can't.
May the Lord wrap His arms around you during this very difficult time.
Hollie
