It has been my privilege to know Jim for the past 20 years. He and Doris were two of the most decent and honorable people I've ever known. Although Jim missed Doris after her death, he carried on and was there for his family. Such an example of a loving parent and grandparent was refreshing to see.
Anyone who saw Jim with his children and especially his grandchildren, or even talking about them, could clearly see just how much he loved each and every one of them.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and their loved ones.
Again, it's been a great honor and privilege to know such a good, honest and most honorable man.

To all of the family:
I send my love to all of you. We will all miss Jim along with Dad. I'm glad he passed away peacefully. I am also glad for the times he and I visited on the phone. He and Uncle Bob were so good to my brothers and me when Dad was sick. The Cooks are good people. We were so blessed to have these men in our lives.
