Alfred H. Fry

Alfred H. Fry, 93, passed away July 25, 2011, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He was born August 26, 1917, in Maxwell, Iowa, to James and Myrtle Fry. Alfred enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing checkers.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2011, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, in West Des Moines, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
