Virginia L. McClish

Virginia L. McClish, 91, passed away at Bright Kavanagh House, July 24, 2011.

Virginia was born July 28, 1919, in Des Moines, to Reed and Fannie Mae (Carlson) Tilden. She graduated from East High School and was a lifelong Des Moines resident. Virginia enjoyed crocheting and dancing.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Judy (Kenneth) Randolph and Georgia (Richard) Anderson; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Enright. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. McClish; daughter, Virginia Casey; four brothers; and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
