Clarence Conn, 65, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Clarence was born May 25, 1946 in Des Moines to Gladys and Miles Conn. He enlisted in the U.S Army in 1963 and served for 17 years active and the remaining as a Master Sergeant in the reserves. On February 4, 1969 he married the love of his life, Margaret Mills. Clarence especially loved spending time with his family.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Clarence Conn Jr., April Lopez; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Ronald (Mary Ann) Conn; nieces and nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

i was shocked to read about clarence's death. i'm a cousin of his but i haven't seen him or any of his brother in a very long time. i think i met his wife at david conn's funeral. i would like to hear from his wife and or children to have them tell me all about his life and family. from whatb i read in the obit. there is only one brother left, ron. where does ron live these days? please accept my condolences. if you want to call me and fill me in my number is 515 262 2053. and i live at 3511 hull ave, des moines, ia 50317

i am so sorry for your loss. uncle clarence was always funny and loved to joke with all of us. he was a kind man and will be missed. jessica daab ,robert conn jr. samantha conn.
