Garry Lee Foster

Garry Lee Foster, 69, died July 22, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Des Moines.

He loved fishing, woodworking, spending time with his family, and playing the guitar.

Garry is survived by his wife, Jorja Foster; his children Star Arndt, Laura (Randy) Flander, Garry David Foster, Brandy Mooney, and Katie (Mike) Parker; his brother Jerry (Linda) Foster; his sisters Pat Davis, Edith Foster, and Sue Foster; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Foster, his mother Inez Stiles, his stepfather Elmer Stiles, and brother Jim Foster.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. The funeral will take place at 2 PM with burial following at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Garry.
