Vicky Sarppo

Vicky (Bentley) Sarppo was born December 13, 1958 in Des Moines.

She passed away on July 22, 2011, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael; her sons, Jeremiah Johnson and Michael Sarppo, Jr.; her daughters, Melissa and Amy Johnson and Jaymie Sarppo; three grandchildren, Brian Saylor, Jr., Nicholas Matthews and Jonathan Johnson; her father, Raymond Grabill; three brothers, Kenny Bentley, Denny Bentley and Jack Brown; and two sisters, Fran Brown and Connie Baker. Vicky was preceded in death by her mother, Netti Irene Morris.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Southtown Baptist Church, 6001 SE 5th Street.
