Linda Rita Cardenas

Linda Cardenas, 69, passed away July 21, 2011, at Kavanagh on 56th Street. No services are planned per her request.

Linda was born June 28, 1942, in Des Moines, to Raymond and Antonia (Rivas) Vasquez. She retired in 2002 from the State Department of Human Services, where she worked as a clerk for 32 years.

Linda is survived by her step-mother, Pat Martinez; step-brother, Sam Ubaldo; special uncle and aunt, John and Janet Rivas; lifetime friend, Anna Murphy; and numerous cousins and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Cardenas; and her sister, Bobbi Harmon.
