William Ritchie

William E. Ritchie, 79, passed away at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on Sunday, April 15, 2007 of respiratory failure following a cerebral hemorrhage. A memorial segment will be included in the regular Sunday service, 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Union Park United Methodist Church on April 22, 2007.
Bill was a departmental and corporate manager at Meredith Corporation for over 30 years. He served on several committees at Union Park United Methodist Church, which he attended for over 50 years. He was also president of the Union Park Neighborhood Association and raised funds to plant over 500 trees in the Union Park area.
Bill is survived by his son, W. Larry Ritchie, and three sisters: Marie Watson, Wilma Buck and Phyllis Hewlett.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the Union Park United Methodist Church.
