My heart goes out to the family, to the children who lost their father and to Wilma, as a mother I cannot even imagine the extent of your grief in losing two children so tragically. May God shine His light on your family in this most difficult time. What I remember most about Shalan is his Passion for life, his smile, and his love of family and friends and his ability to overcome great obstacles with such ease. May he find eternal peace and love in the arms of The Lord. You all remain in my heart and my prayers.

So sorry to hear of Shalan's passing. The last time I remember seeing Shalan, he must have only been around 11 years old at the time as I used to hang out with Pam's son John growing up.
Please know that I am thinking of your family and praying that you will find peace and comfort in the days and weeks ahead.

They say only the good die young, Even though he will be greatly missed down here he is on a nicer ride now taking care of the people up there like he did for the short time he was here. God be with all family and friends at this time it is a very sad thing that has happened.

II don't know where to begin. My heart is with you and although I have many very awesome memories with Shalan, the one that sticks out the most is him holding my VERY new, VERY tiny daughter. He was such a big man and she was just swallowed by him but he was so gentle. He was so happy to be able to see her and hold her. He was nothing short of a gentle giant. He will be missed terribly and if there is anything else that I can do, please let me know.

My dear friend Wilma & Family,Shalen was loved by all of us,he was a good friend to my son Steve Golly and was part of our extended family growing up in the old neighborhood,he had a heart of gold,I remember times when Jeremy couldn't babysit my daughter Danielle McKeehan and Shalen would come to my rescue every time with that big beautiful grin on his face saying I'll do it. I believe he's in heaven now still flashing that dazzling smile and helping out where ever he can.My thoughts and prayers are with you and Travis and Angie too.Remember I'm here for u sis, whatever u need.
