Virginia R. (Anderson) Skutley

Virginia R. (Anderson) Skutley, 98, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 13, 2011 at Calvin Community Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday July 20, 2011, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona, with burial following at Bondurant Cemetery.

Virginia was born May 18, 1913 in Bondurant, Iowa, to William and Martha (McElroy) Anderson. She was married to Donald Skutley, who preceded her in death in 2005. Virginia worked as an administrative assistant prior to retirement, and was a member of Bondurant Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Virginia.
