Linda Lucero, 55, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Linda wished to be cremated, and services will be held at a later date.
Linda Kay Lucero was born February 22, 1956, in Osceola, Iowa. She grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Lincoln High School. In her recent years, Linda enjoyed taking care of her husband, Mike. She also enjoyed collecting coins, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; parents, Richard and Cora Blackburn; daughter, Jamie Marko-Brammer; grandchildren, Gannon and Gabe Marko-Brammer; and siblings, Paul, David (Tammy), Mike, and Debbie Blackburn.
Preceding her in death is her mother, Phyllis Moore; and daughter, Lisa.

My deepest sympathies to Linda's family. I have known Linda ever since she was a teenager. My sister and Linda were friends before I met and married Linda's brother Paul. May she Rest In Peace!
