David Edwards

David W. “D.J.” Edwards, Jr. died April 14, 2007 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Private family burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
D.J. worked for Everybody Shop. He loved hunting, camping and spending time with his grandkids.
D.J. is survived by his wife, Elsie Edwards; sister, Lolita Edwards; daughter, Tina Edwards; son, David Edwards, III; stepsons, Rod Earles and Lee Earles; two stepbrothers; nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fern and David Edwards, Sr. and his stepson, Terry Earles.
