Danny Fogue
August 31, 2021
Fly high, sweet gentle soul.
Daniel Charles Fogue, (AKA: Danny, Dan, Bones, Dan the Man, Smilin' Dan, Dan-Dan the Procedure Man, DC), 43, passed away on August 31, 2021, in a tragic accident. Danny will not only live on in the hearts of those who loved him, as well as in the lives he saved through organ donation.
Danny was born July 16, 1978, in Des Moines, Iowa to Rick and Julie Fogue. He was a humble, hardworking member of Laborers’ Local #177; when he was not on the job site he could likely be found cleaning his house. He had an obsessive devotion for being a son, father, and family member. He was a protective hero to his children, and a committed, unconditionally loving husband.
Danny had a quiet presence and a loving personality that was contagious to everyone he met. He was a true friend and willing to help anyone, anytime. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending Sundays with his family watching NASCAR and the Minnesota Vikings. He was an enthusiast for music - even telling his mom, “what would the world be like without music?' He and his wife took as many opportunities as possible to explore, travel, and camp. Danny was often seen wearing boots and a hard hat, and a smile.
Danny is survived by his wife, Julie Fogue; children, Tyler, Jordis, Caleb, Kaitlyn and Carson; parents, Rick and Julie Fogue; sister, Tricia and Jeremy Rivas; nephews and niece, Colton, Mateo and Marlee; maternal grandparents, Donald and Delores Wessels; beloved fur baby, Roxy; and many adoring Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norris and Lorna Fogue.
Danny will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his unconditional love, being the light in the darkest of rooms, his kind, supportive demeanor, and being a wonderful son, brother, father, and husband.
When we see Danny again, it will be as if no time had passed. He will welcome us with his beautiful, infectious smile and atypical, Danny style - hey.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Danny plant a tree or hang a hummingbird feeder.

Keep each other strong and keep your family tight together. I am lost for words and I am not sure what to say. I can't believe this has happened. Danny was always kind and polite with me and he always had the million dollar smile that I will always remember. He was a cute little boy and I remember him running through your house (the one down the street from Jesse bar.) I can't remember the name of the street, anyway I do remember his cute little body running around then he grew up to a fine man. What a great person. This is shocking. I have prayed for you all. May God help you all through this.
I send my love
