Jerry Huffman

Jerry Dwayne Huffman, 81, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021.

Jerry was born September 17, 1939 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Glenn and Bertha (Keeler) Huffman. He graduated from Collins High School in Collins, Iowa.

He married Rozella Faye (Veatch) and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1957-1961. He worked as a diesel mechanic for many years, and retired as the mailroom supervisor for Younkers after 12 years.

Jerry was a great person who meant a lot to many people. He had an ornery sense of humor and enjoyed teasing people he liked. He was a loving father and a diligent husband who always took care of his family.

He is survived by his children, Marcia Dietrich (Juan Chavez), Dean Huffman (Meredith), Marjorie Huffman; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Rozella, his brother, Jackie, in infancy, and his parents.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Ivy Centennial UMC, 9150 NE University Avenue, Altoona, followed by burial at Canfield Cemetery.
