Lewis will be Forever Missed. He had such a positive impact on his community. Known for being an awesome skateboarder and he was so looking forward to the New Skateboard Park and was a Big Supporter. Lewis was our local skate board icon. Supported many Bands, pro bono promoter, and #1 Van Halen Fan. He enjoyed getting his Monte Carlo Painted & Countless other projects.
We will always remember his wonderful smile & kind heart. A Survivor in life, a caregiver to his grandma (her PJ) till the end. He had endless talents, full of endless possibilities and a future full of life. He loved stickers and sticking them everywhere on everything. Knick knack expert and could make the best Shadow Box Displays like no other. Lewis had a creative mind and extremely gifted and talented. Always willing to help out friends when in need. We know how sudden and fast this has been and we’re all still in shock.
Here are just some of everyone’s wonderful kind words and comments:

Kim I am so sorry for your loss. I do not if you remember me. My mom was Janis Thomas. She worked at the Des Moines Police Department. I met Lewis when I was about 16 years old. His sister Kim and I went to the Lincoln Homecoming 1981 dance. I went with Lewis and she went with her date. I remember Lewis skateboarding at the Iowa State Fair. He even was in the newspaper!

Rocky, you were a very big part of my life growing up. And nothing ever changed when I got older. You are The most caring, fun, and free spirited. You taught me how to skate board and taught me about rock. Always went trick or treating and Ill always remember all your collections. And you some how always knew how to put a smile on my face. Treated me as your own. Even painted my nails.. even if sometimes it was done with a sharpie !! I didnt mind. My heart is heavy but I know midnight and grandma missed you very much. Rock on, I love you so much.
