Richard Keith Thomas, age 63, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was born on September 23, 1961 to Keith and Sharon (Anderson) Thomas.
Rick was born and lived his life in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Southeast Polk School.
He worked with his family as a siding applicator most of his life and retired to his lawn mower and his grandkids. Rick enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, WWE, and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and friends!
Rick is survived by his significant other Denise “DeeDee” Avery, sons Ryan, Randy, Kyle, and Cory, step-sons Kenny, Korey, and Kenneth, brother Ronnie (Kay), sister Kathy, and numerous grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Sharon Thomas.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Mary Go Round Lounge, 6584 NE 14th St., Des Moines.

Rick, I met you a few times when your cousin Teri brought me over and it had been a while since I had laughed so hard with the stories you, Jason, and Teri told me. I wish there would be more times to sit in the garage and listen to more stories with you. I am grateful that I had the privilege of meeting you. Rest easy Rick. I'll be praying for the family and friends left behind.
