Chloe Jo See, 20, passed away surrounded by her family on January 21, 2024. She was born in Des Moines, on April 19, 2003, the daughter of Troy and Samantha (Tidball) See.

A letter to our daughter –
From the moment you were placed in our arms, we knew God had gifted us with an extraordinary human. As your parents it was our job to guide and teach you, we never expected we would become the students and you our precious girl the teacher. Life is full of so many lessons and these are just a few we learned from you. You taught us to be strong when we felt weak. You taught us how to be resilient during some of the most challenging times. You taught us patience when all we wanted to do was hurry. With every hurdle and milestone reached, you taught us perseverance. But most importantly, Chloe Jo, you taught us that unconditional love is real and even though you could never vocalize – I Love You too….we always knew. Your selfless love will live on in others. The memory of your bright smile, belly laughs and soft sighs will be the light we carry in our darkest moments. Loving you was our greatest joy. Remembering you will always be our greatest treasure.

Chloe is survived by her parents, Troy and Samantha See; sisters, Sammie Novelo and Valerie Rice; niece, Sophia Rice; grandfather, Duke Tidball, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandma Sandi See Wakefield and grandma Cindy Tidball

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona.
