Robert L. Hebron
November 07, 1960 — January 06, 2024
Robert L. Hebron passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 63.
Robert was born November 7, 1960 in Des Moines. He served in the US Army from 1982-1988.
Robert worked for Sysco Food Services for many years. Following his retirement from Sysco, Robert began working for the Johnston Community School District. Robert, “Mr. Bob”, was a Special Education Associate who was loved dearly by students and colleagues. This position gave him great joy.
Robert enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on the Green Bay Packers, but what he loved most was spending time with his family.
Robert was a true family man, dedicating everything to his wife and children. His love of being a husband and father seemed insurmountable, but nothing could surpass his love of being a grandpa.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Linda, his daughter Hannah (Derek) Robison, his son Robert “Bobby” (Maddie) Hebron, and his daughter Rose (Anthony) Kaiser. Robert is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Harriet, Beau, Eloise, Mayson, Sebastian, Lorenzo, Bernadette, and Raelyn.
Thank you to the dedicated team at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines for providing compassionate care, comfort, and peace to Robert and his family.
No public service planned.

To our papa Bob,
We will always remember your kindness, selflessness, and pure goodness. You remain a great piece of our hearts, through all the gifted hotwheels, nicknames, and never forgetable laughs shared. We love you papa Bob! We know you are resting now and will never ever forget you. We love you so very much. "Wildman," "May May Rae," and "Louie," will love you always, just as much as we will! (Robert and Maddie.) We will cheer for the Packers from down here! Rest easy Bob! We love you so much!
