I knew Mike years ago working at Target. We had some of the best talks about Star Wars and Weird Al among other things. He was absolutely the sweetest guy. I am so saddened to learn of his passing. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

From the family of a little game - to us Chassir was the best of us. To say he will be missed is an understatement. To his family at home in Iowa I leave you with these words of comfort from the book of Job
(Job 19:25 - 27) For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;
And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God,
Whom I shall see for myself, And my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

Knowing Mike as big family guy, amazing father, and loving husband. His joy for RC cars, and his passion for Star Wars and using his 3D printer to make some amazing Star Wars stuff, always had a big smile when he shared his latest creation. But nothing gave him more joy the being with his son Emmet, and is example what fatherhood looks like.
While I never met Mike in person, what told us of his family, Renee and Emmet your are his joy, may the Lord bring you comfort, peace and strength, my condolences, thank you for sharing him, blessing to you all.

I knew Michael as "Chasir" in a silly mobile game called Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC). Chasir was a founding member of our alliance. Chasir was a leader and mentor. While I never met Michael in person, he and I shared the Iowa connection. Michael/Chasir will be deeply missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Peace be with you.

My condolences to your family in this time. I never knew the man you knew as Mike. To me he was Chasir. He was always willing to help a brother in a fight and everyone in our universe knew of his unending love for his family. Especially his son Emmet. He will be missed.
