Jack Lee Linn, 75, passed away on January 23, 2024 while under hospice care at Pine Acres.
He was born September 10, 1948 in Decatur, Illinois to his parents Clifford and Dorothy (Jones) Linn. Jack was a hard worker and enjoyed staying busy, He was a Butcher at Wilson Foods, Manager at Firestone Tire, and a Maintenance Manager at Sun Prairie Apartments. His most recent and favorite job was as a bus driver for the Waukee and Johnston schools. He loved his job and enjoyed interacting with the students.
Jack is survived by children, Tim (Misti) Linn, Matthew (Jayna) Linn, Jack Linn Jr., and Lauren (Christian) Van Ekeron; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Midwest in loving memory of Jack Linn.

I did not know Jack very well but on the few times that I talk to him he seemed like a very nice, he especially adored his kids and family. I'm sure he will be very missed. May he rest in peace.
