Ilona Joanne Rogerson

Ilona Joanne Rogerson, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Ilona was born July 30, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank and Margaret Nalevanko. She enjoyed cooking and camping with her family. Ilona loved her pets and spending time at home with her family and dogs.

She is survived by her daughter Jean Rogerson, granddaughter Jessica Tomlinson, great-grandchildren Gabriel Rodriguez and Olivia Zimmerman, siblings Lorraine Carr and Tommy Nalevanko, and her pets Jax, Leo and Lucy.

Ilona was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Margaret Nalevanko and her siblings - Peg Hinebaugh, Francis Nalevanko, Bobby Williams, and Elizabeth Thompson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League.
