Frank Jr. Vasey, 69, passed away on January 2, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA. He will be missed and loved by everyone that knew him.
Frank worked for Wheelers Lumber Yard in West Des Moines. He was co-owner of Inspiration Bar. He also worked and was a member of Copper Union 106.
He is survived by his daughters, Mindy Vasey and Mackenzie Lemke. His brothers Harold (Darlene), George (Connie), and Hank (Becky), Roy (Debbie). Two sisters Pat (John) Watson, Betty Dominguez (Vasey). And many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his significant other, Jerrica Lemke; and his parents Laura and Frank Vasey, his brothers, Carl, Winfred, and Fred, one sister Evelyn Jones, and his nephew Bobby Vasey.
His wishes were to be cremated with no services. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Mercy Hospital for the care that Frank received.

So sorry to hear that Frank has passed. We were such good childhood friends and had many good times growing up together in the (Valley). Prayers to you all. He will be missed. Rest in peace Frank!
