Eldon Kirkland was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 13, 1963. Eldon was sadly called home to the Lord January 21, 2024 He was reunited with his Wife Bekki Kirkland,Grandfather George W. Kenzie, Grandmother Estella “Fern” Kunzie and Father Raymond Kirkland.
Eldon leaves behind his mother Sharon Fletcher, sister, Rasha Kirkland, brother Shawn Fletcher sister Shannon Fletcher his son Aiden Kirkland, step-son Nathan Denning along with 14 nieces and nephews. Eldon touched each of us individually, in so many ways. He found joy in the simplest things, and in doing so, taught us to appreciate those little moments that make life so beautiful. With his humor, light, and infectious laugh that was easily identified no matter where you were in the room. Even in the face of adversity, he remained hopeful, resilient, positive. His spirit was not just an inspiration, it was a force, a beacon, a guiding light. As we bid farewell to Eldon today, we are not just mourning his absence, but celebrating his life, his spirit, his legacy.

Eldon, we are still in complete shock, you were an amazing human and friend, and your loss will be greatly missed by so many. We will miss your calls, and your overnight stays during you summer trips, hearing about your son, and seeing all the great photos from your adventures. We love and miss you 💔
