DeLoris Lint

DeLoris Darlene Lint, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Azira Nursing Home in Des Moines, Iowa.

DeLoris was born December 6, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa to Harry Cornelius Dullard and Lela Grace McIntosh Dullard. She was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area.

She worked as a housekeeper and for CDS during her working years. Her husband, David Lint, was part of Lint Transfers/Van Lines Company.

She loved music, especially country and gospel, and had an extensive CD collection. One of her favorite artists was Johnny Cash. DeLoris’s faith was very important to her and she loved to spread the Word of the Lord. She enjoyed going on walks and fresh flowers. She was a wonderful cook and loved her cat, Josh, who lived to be 30 years old.

She is survived by many loving friends.

DeLoris was preceded in death by her husband, David Lint, adopted daughter, parents, brothers, and her cat.

She will be laid to rest at Booneville Cemetery in Booneville, Iowa next to her husband, David.
