Jack B. Bailey, 62, passed away at his home July 6, 2011.
Jack was born November 12, 1948, in Des Moines, to Burl and Helen (Livingston) Bailey. He was a machine operator for Citigroup and EDS.
Jack is survived by his wife, Rhonda Bailey; children, Diana (Randy) Thompson, Tom (Mara Meisterburg) Sherman, Sheena Bailey, Danny Bailey and Elizabeth Bailey; sister, Dee Millard; brothers, Rick Millard and Jim Fitzgibbons; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter, Tommie Leigh Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Rhonda and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, uncle, grandfather and best friend.
He was a very special and caring man and I know he will be missed. I pray God wraps his arms gently around all of you and offers comfort through the hard times and holds your hand in happy times.
I have been praying for Jack for a very long time that he might accept Jesus Christ as his Heavenly Father and Jack did just that. With so much love and guidance from his family he will be waiting for all of us when we go to our heavenly homes, what joy even in a time of great loss.
God Bless the whole family with peace and I pray your faith will guide you through this sad, but joyous time. Jack you were an awesome man who dearly loved all his children, grandchildren and anyone whose life you touched. God Bless you and all those who knew you. Don and Jody
