Craig Gordon

Craig E. Gordon, 58, passed away at home Friday morning May 20, 2011, of an apparent heart attack.

Craig was the backhoe operator at Glendale Cemetery. He held many positions while employed with the city of Des Moines during his 28 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, and traveling to find new fishing holes. He loved getting together with family and playing with his nieces and nephews.

Craig is survived by his wife, Cindy; his mother, Donna; his brothers, Danny “Steve,” Ron, Rick, and Alan. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur, and his brother, Robert.

Cremation has occurred and no services are planned. Hamilton’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
